Zero gravity is interesting to say the least. The first time I experienced it was during a flight simulation. Then of course there's flying around in space, which was a hell of a lot more fun. Probably the best perk is I don't have to spend so much time finding a great bra.
But none of these experiences prepared me for what was to come. My shields had been wasted, those light missiles now exploding on the little armor my Dramiel had. When all functions ceased I smashed the eject button and prayed they would ignore me. Well I guess they thought my harmless pod was still priority #1. Helplessly floating in an interdiction bubble, I held my breath as I saw the rockets. Then it was a mass of nothing, my consciousness floating in the comos, trying to return to my body which was now not inhabitable. Finally there is a bright light, and I gasp for breath as I sit up in the cloning vat.
"Suukii, welcome back. How did it feel?"
"Weightless."
