Amanda Jayne Burke grew up as the child of slaves under Amarrian dominion. As a teenager she led a successful uprising against the local slavers, killing many of them. Wanted by the cruel Amarr Empire, she was taken in by guerillas fighting for the Republic. She has risen to the top ranks of the movement, fighting against the Amarr as well as against sexism and the oppressive patriarchy within the tribal-dominated guerilla movement.
