Document: Internal Assessment Subject: Meridian Kane // The Hound Prepared by: VQ
Kane, Meridian. Minmatar. Deathless Circle operative, status self-declared independent — a designation the Deathless network has not formally contested, which I note as significant. Origin: Amarr colonial captivity. She died there. The Deathless reconstructed her — they had identified her prior to death and were waiting. She woke with her memories, a ship, and an agenda I have not been able to fully access.
The Deathless sent her to us. She integrated quickly — too quickly for someone arriving without prior knowledge of the corp, which suggests she had already decided before she arrived. Report filing to the Deathless suspended shortly after joining. I asked her once for a date. She said the question was interesting. I have not asked again.
She does not read the document. The document refers to her as the one who refuses to read it. When informed of this, she said that if the document already knew, it did not need her to confirm it. I have recorded this response because it is the most information she has ever volunteered about anything.
Operational assessment: The most effective vanguard I have observed. Tackle, interdiction, cynosural beacons, links — all performed without any calculation involving her own survival. She has died a number of times I have recorded precisely and will not include in this document because she asked me not to and I found the request, for reasons I have not fully resolved, worth honouring. She returns each time. Standard clone continuity is a settled question for capsuleers. The Deathless reconstruction process is not standard. What its long-term parameters produce across repeated cycles is not documented in any source I have been able to access, including the Deathless network's own records, which are either incomplete or selectively available. She has declined to discuss this. I have noted the gap and left it open. It is the only entry in this assessment without a close.
