After the great exodus during the Caldari Breakout when the Caldari left their home planet, a new state had to be built from scratch in a very short time. Caldari Constructions was one of the companies that participated in that great effort and it has been living off this past achievement ever since. Though no longer very active in the wheeling and dealing of power politics, it still holds some very valuable cards in its hand.
